Do you really like the Miami Dolphins?
Do you like to talk about them?
Do people wish you talked less about the Dolphins?

Do you have an opinion or two, maybe?

Is it your idea of a good time to post lengthy comments on someone else's blog or article? Or do you have your own Dolphins blog? Can you write coherent sentences WITHOUT USING ALL CAPS? Do you sometimes wish you could put your own Dolphins articles on the internet?

Well, here is a site for you:  OPhinions.com [not affiliated with the Miami Dolphins nor the NFL]

A community, a place for Miami Dolphin fans to contribute articles, commentary, analysis, opinions, original photos, videos, etc.  Instead of commenting on someone else's internet column, we're looking  for people to write the articles.  Or contribute original photos or videos.  All without the hassle of maintaining your own site

We want people that are DolFans, people who think there are 2 seasons a year - Football season and the rest of the year. It's OK to be a homer. In fact it's preferred. However, you need to write what you believe, good or bad. Pretend you are one of the guys from the Herald, the Sun-Sentinel or the Palm Beach Post and write a column.

We are also looking for Dolfans with their own blog that want to either contribute an occasional article or are willing to have a link from this site to selected articles on their site.

What is the difference between this site and a blog, you ask? 1] Not much really. It's mainly the attitude. The look and feel is designed to be more like a football section of an on-line newspaper rather than a blog. 2] We can control not only the content, but ALL aspects of the site. 3] Blogs have most of the tasks automated, such as archiving and adding comments, making it easy for you. This site doesn't yet, but we will get there! 4] No ads if we don't want them. If we do, there is space reserved for them on the right and bottom of the pages.

What will you get for your contribution? Nothing. No cash, no prizes. But you can tell your friends and family you are a iColumnist or an iReporter. If you're interested send an email to columns@ophinions.com.

Also looking for editors, asp guys, flash developers, web designers and such. [Think of it as a resume enhancer if you want!]

More info to come, this site is just getting set up.
